The services will be provided as per the agreed terms between the customer and Lacoochee Movers. Any changes in services will be mutually agreed upon before they are rendered.
2. Booking and Payments
- Booking Process: To book our services, you must provide us with the necessary details (e.g., moving date, items to be moved, origin, and destination addresses). All bookings are subject to availability.
- Payment Terms: Payments for our services must be made in advance or as otherwise agreed. We accept payments via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other methods as specified on our website.
- Refunds: In case of cancellations made before 48 hours of the scheduled moving day, a full refund will be issued. Any cancellations made within 48 hours of the moving date may incur a cancellation fee.
3. Responsibilities of the Customer
As a customer, you are responsible for:
- Providing Accurate Information: Ensuring that the information provided to Lacoochee Movers is accurate and up-to-date, including the address and details of the items to be moved.
- Preparing the Items: Ensure that all items are packed securely before the scheduled moving day. If you have opted for our packing service, Lacoochee Movers will pack the items on your behalf.
- Access and Conditions: Ensure clear access to your property and that all parking restrictions are communicated to Lacoochee Movers beforehand.
- Prohibited Items: Customers should not request the moving of hazardous materials, flammable items, or illegal substances. Please consult with our team to determine which items can or cannot be moved.
4. Pricing and Fees
- Estimates and Quotes: We provide free estimates based on the size and scope of your move. However, the final price may vary depending on actual services rendered, including additional charges for unforeseen circumstances such as longer travel times, extra handling, or additional storage.
- Hourly vs. Flat Rate: For local moves, we may charge an hourly rate. Long-distance and specialty moves may be quoted with a flat rate.
- Storage Fees: If using our storage services, storage fees are applicable based on the size of the unit and duration of storage. Payment for storage must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed.
5. Liability and Insurance
- Liability for Damage: Lacoochee Movers will handle all items with care. However, we cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from improper packing, items not being packed by our team, or items that are not secured or adequately protected.
- Insurance Options: We offer basic insurance as part of our services. Additional insurance can be purchased to cover the full value of your items during the move. We recommend reviewing your insurance options before the move.
- Damaged or Lost Items: Any claims for lost or damaged items must be submitted to our team within 48 hours of delivery. Lacoochee Movers will conduct an investigation and compensate for damages as per the insurance policy.
6. Service Delays
While we strive to ensure timely delivery and moving services, certain delays may occur due to weather conditions, road closures, or unforeseen circumstances. Lacoochee Movers is not liable for any delays that are beyond our control.
7. Termination of Service
Lacoochee Movers reserves the right to terminate or suspend the provision of services to any customer if:
- The customer violates any of the terms outlined in this agreement.
- The customer provides false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Payment for services is not received within the agreed time frame.
8. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy. Lacoochee Movers collects personal information for the purpose of providing our services, processing payments, and improving our website. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts in the state of Florida.

In the event of a dispute, Lacoochee Movers and the customer agree to attempt to resolve the matter through negotiation or mediation. If a resolution cannot be reached, either party may initiate legal proceedings in the appropriate jurisdiction.

Lacoochee Movers reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon publication. It is the customer’s responsibility to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
